Cases denied by the Immigration Judge can be appealed to the Board of Immigration Appeals in Falls Church, Virginia. Appeals must be filed within 30 days of the decision of the Immigration Judge. Please be aware that the Board does not take new testimony or accept new evidence. Rather, after the Board of Immigration Appeals sends a transcript of what was stated before the Immigration Judge, a brief must be quickly filed that details why the decision of the Immigration Judge should be overturned.
